We are a community led facility that is passionate about providing a communal place with a multi-purpose for our community.
All money generated from hiring the centre goes straight back into maintaining the building and improving our facilities.
We are proud to welcome hundreds of visitors to our community centre each week.
Abram Community Centre is home to lots of different groups, clubs and classes which take place every week and throughout the year.
ABRAM REMEMBRANCE PARADE & CHURCH SERVICE
On Sunday 12th November it is the Remembrance Sunday Parade and church service in Abram.
Can all people taking part please be in Dootson Street at the back of Abram community centre for 9.50am so that we are ready to start the parade at 10.00am.
At 10.00am the parade leaves Dootson Street turning left along Warrington Road. We continue to walk along Warrington Road arriving at church around 10.15am ready for the service to begin at 10.30am. After the service the parade assembles down the side of the church and follows the same route returning to Dootson Street for dispersal around 11.40am.
Joining us for the parade and service this year is our MP Yvonne Fovargue and ward councillor Nazia Rehman.
Abram community centre will be open from 8.30am. We will be providing free coffee, tea, soft drinks, and toast at the centre from 8.30am till 1pm.
As in previous years the centre will be showing the National Service of Remembrance live from London on the big screen throughout the morning.
